Age groups follow, AAU - AUS format. A player MUST NOT be older than their age group as of September 1, 2023. Example: If you are 14 on September 1, 2023, you will play in the 14 & Under (14U) age group until 31st August 2024.

 All you have to do is get 8-10 players, a coach, pick a team name, buy some uniforms, and register in the tournament. 

That’s it. You’re in.

AAU Australia Membership is renewed annually and covers the cost of insurance premiums. Failure to have a current AAU Australia  Athlete Membership will mean event participation is not permitted.

Game Elementz will enter teams into selected age groups. Spots are limited and invite only. Player expression of interest is open now.

Teams will be placed into divisions and play  round robin style before finals. Not all teams play finals. Standings after round robin games determine finals opponents

AAU allows the best talent from any club, associations & state to come together to compete. Its allows the best to play with & against the best in their age group. It can produce varying game results depending on team talent and depth. It's fast paced, physical and competitive, not designed for participation.

 You haven't experienced basketball until you've competed in AAU - AUS. The Brisbane Classic is THE basketball event for 2024. 40 Teams for boys and girls from 12 & Under - 21 & Under. The new pathway in basketball.
